The Young Adult Shelter Life Skills Manager role is onsite in Denver, CO. Pay is $24.26 per hour. Urban Peak Denver provides shelter and other services for youth ages 15–24 experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness, with a focus on trauma-informed care and positive youth development.

What you'll do

• Supervise youth and support safety in shelter or housing programs
• maintain a safe and positive environment
• document admissions, services, and significant events
• collect and maintain data
• conduct intakes and assess needs
• establish plans and make referrals
• provide crisis intervention and de-escalation
• facilitate group activities and discussions
• support shelter cleanliness and daily activities
• coordinate with staff and departments. A limited primary case-management caseload may be assigned when the employee has appropriate credentials.

Why this role

The posting requires two years of college, or a high school diploma/equivalent plus six or more years of human-services or direct homeless-youth experience. QMAP certification or eligibility is required. The stated schedule is Sunday–Tuesday, 1:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
