Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager role is onsite in Glendale, MA. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. The position supports day-to-day operations at a GPM Investments convenience store. The assistant manager helps the Store Manager maintain store performance by supporting customers and staff, managing inventory and schedules, and handling operational and financial tasks. The role also serves as acting manager when the Store Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling products and promotions
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and exterior cleanliness
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials
• provide team feedback and leadership.
