Unit Manager — Nursing

What you'll do

• Assess residents at admission and discharge
• develop care plans and implement them in accordance with physician orders
• supervise nursing personnel and assign duties to LPNs and nursing assistants
• make daily rounds
• document services and maintain accurate records
• attend therapy and weekly interdisciplinary meetings
• review charting
• arrange replacement staff when shortages arise
• track infection-control and resident-care trends
• fill in as Charge Nurse when necessary
• protect residents’ rights, safety, and property.
