The per-diem technician supports emergency cases from triage through discharge, providing nursing care, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical-care support. The role works closely with veterinarians and the team to deliver care to patients and support pet parents during stressful situations.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage through discharge
• assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, tube placement, anesthesia, and advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasounds
• perform CPR as trained
• and collaborate with doctors and teammates. Requires state veterinary technician credentialing (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT), at least one year of veterinary technician experience, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as-needed basis.
