Group Counselor, Addiction Treatment

The Group Counselor role is onsite in Springfield, MO; pay is $25–$30 per hour plus a bonus structure. Behavioral Health Group operates accredited treatment centers and provides opioid addiction treatment through intensive outpatient, opioid treatment, and office-based programs. The counselor supports the intensive outpatient program by assessing admissions, delivering evidence-based counseling and curriculum, and coordinating with clinical and support teams to help patients engage in treatment and maintain compliant care documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct admissions using ASAM Level 2.1 criteria
• review assessments for program eligibility
• explain program requirements and encourage engagement
• develop assessments and treatment plans
• provide evidence-based counseling, targeted case management, and crisis support
• deliver Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT curriculum at least three hours per day, four days per week
• provide individual counseling and tailored interventions
• support outreach, orientation, intake, readmission, and transitions
• maintain compliant documentation and confidentiality.
