What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.
• Perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation.
• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.

Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
