Automation Project Manager, Data Center

The Automation Project Manager, Data Center role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with travel up to 20%. Compensation is $140,000–$170,000 per year. The role supports KE’s Automation Division, delivering automation and controls projects in data center and mission-critical environments. The position leads projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover, coordinating customers, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and commissioning teams. It contributes to safe, on-time, on-budget delivery and reliable operations by managing project execution, risks, schedules, and financials.

What you'll do

• Lead data center automation and controls projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover
• serve as technical project leader for owners, operators, engineers, and construction partners
• translate customer requirements into scopes and execution plans
• coordinate engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and commissioning
• conduct project reviews and resolve issues
• support design reviews, panel integrations, software schedules, FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning
• manage meetings, budgets, milestones, financials, and change orders
• maintain customer relationships and ensure customer standards, quality, safety, and uptime expectations.
