What you'll do

• Develop lessons aligned with New York State Learning Standards and student IEPs
• implement IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans
• assess progress
• deliver individualized, small-group, and whole-class instruction
• maintain records
• support social-emotional skills and self-regulation
• collaborate with providers, administrators, and families
• supervise assigned teacher aides
• use Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques when necessary.
