What you'll do

• Review menus
• inspect special-diet trays
• complete required forms and reports
• coordinate food service with other departments and the facility dietitian
• prepare and serve meals and therapeutic diets according to planned menus and portion procedures
• provide bedtime snacks
• follow sanitation and infection-control procedures
• ensure supplies are available and assist with inventory and storage
• recommend equipment and supply needs to the Dietary Director
• follow resident-rights requirements.
