Audio-Visual Technician / Security Installer

The Audio-Visual Technician / Security Installer role is onsite in the Village of Williamsburg, VA. Pay is $25–$35 per hour. The role supports commercial clients with installation, maintenance, and service of audio-visual and security systems. The installer surveys sites, configures equipment, and troubleshoots system issues to help ensure clients receive functioning AV and security solutions. Client guidance and accurate service records support successful project completion and ongoing use of installed systems.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain projectors, sound systems, and video-conferencing equipment
• install and service cameras, alarms, and access-control systems
• conduct site surveys and recommend installation requirements
• troubleshoot AV and security systems
• coordinate with clients and team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
• train and support clients on installed systems
• maintain installation, repair, and service-call records.
