Job overview
The Clinical and Youth Development Supervisor position is based in Maui County, with onsite work at a YouthLine call center 2–3 days per week in the evenings and travel to schools and community events. It is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a base rate of $27.00–$34.09 per hour; applicable differentials may add $2 per hour for a related master’s degree and $1 per hour for qualifying in-office hours. Lines for Life works to prevent substance abuse and suicide and promote mental health. The supervisor provides clinical oversight, mentorship, and real-time support to youth volunteers on YouthLine’s peer-to-peer help and crisis line. The role also supports volunteer recruitment and development, crisis intervention training, quality assurance, and community education and outreach.
What you'll do
- Supervise and mentor volunteers answering calls, texts, and chats
- provide real-time coaching and clinical guidance
- respond to high-acuity contacts beyond volunteer scope and assess need for emergency or protective intervention
- monitor documentation and calls
- recruit, onboard, train, and schedule volunteers
- coordinate training logistics
- deliver school presentations and community outreach
- travel throughout Maui County for events and partner meetings.
