Client Service Officer, Patient Support

The Client Service Officer, Patient Support role is onsite in Trujillo Alto, PR, with pay of $13.91–$15.20 per hour. NeoMed Center provides primary and preventive healthcare and works to improve community health outcomes. The officer coordinates referrals, preauthorizations, equipment and transportation requests, and patient access to medical and community services. The role also supports care navigation, follow-up, documentation, and efforts to reduce barriers and strengthen continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Process referrals and preauthorizations
• monitor referral workflows and close them in the electronic medical record
• handle insurer appeals and special coverage requests
• process medical equipment and transportation orders
• update patients on authorization status
• coordinate appointments and community referrals
• help patients navigate insurance and support resources
• document services and monitor treatment follow-up.
