JOB PURPOSE: The Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing instructional experiences for the preschool child for adequate development in the social, emotional, physical, and educational processes. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:. Possesses knowledge and understanding of early childhood development. Ensures every child is engaged in and challenged by a variety of learning experiences.
