Projects Procurement Manager

The Projects Procurement Manager role is based in Reno, NV, with regular travel to project sites throughout the western United States; relocation is available. This newly created position builds project procurement processes and connects procurement with project execution. The manager negotiates service contracts, develops supplier relationships, and partners with project teams to help deliver work safely, on schedule, and within budget.

What you'll do

• Lead procurement for capital construction and industrial energy projects
• establish procurement processes and best practices
• source and negotiate contractor, construction-service, equipment-rental, crane, utility, engineering, and permitting contracts
• lead RFP and RFQ processes through contract award
• negotiate master service agreements, pricing, and commercial terms
• evaluate contractor performance
• travel to project sites to monitor suppliers and resolve issues
• partner with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, and Procurement leadership
• improve supplier development and procurement processes. Approximately 50% travel throughout the western United States is expected.
