Electronics Technician 4, Security and Electronic Systems

Job overview

The Electronics Technician 4 role is onsite in Washington, DC, with travel required to support field office operations. Pay is $36–$60 per hour. M.C. Dean’s Security and Electronic Systems business unit designs, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. The technician leads installation, configuration, sustainment, and documentation of integrated security systems. The role supports reliable system operation through project leadership, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and accurate technical records.

What you'll do

• Lead complex installation projects and technician teams
• install and maintain equipment
• conduct safety talks and audits
• manage project schedules and labor forecasts
• program and install access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV head-end equipment
• commission and test systems
• integrate and troubleshoot systems
• configure access permissions
• train personnel
• lead preventive maintenance
• document maintenance, testing, and system configurations.
