Care For the Homeless provides dental care as part of its patient-centered medical home team. The dentist diagnoses and treats oral health conditions and provides preventive, primary, and reconstructive dental services. The role also includes outpatient care, referrals and follow-up, clinical performance improvement, peer chart review, and use of the organization’s electronic health record and dental systems.

What you'll do

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic assessments and dental treatment within the scope of practice
• manage outpatient patients and refer them to outside centers when needed
• participate in clinical performance improvement and peer chart review
• use the organization’s electronic health record, practice management, dental record, and digital radiograph software
• attend scheduled dental and clinical staff meetings
• complete charts according to organizational policy.
