Technical CAD Designer — Tooling and Fixtures

The Technical CAD Designer role is onsite in Greenville, SC. Pay is $30–$32 per hour. The role designs, develops, and supports tooling, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment used in manufacturing. The designer works with production, design engineering, quality, and sourcing teams to deliver practical tooling solutions that support product quality, operational efficiency, and on-time execution. The role also contributes to troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and standardization.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain tooling, jigs, fixtures, and production support equipment
• execute tooling projects
• collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and sourcing
• assess feasibility and costs
• support installation, setup, validation, and calibration
• troubleshoot wear, defects, malfunctions, and process variation
• maintain drawings, specifications, 3D models, maintenance instructions, and standards
• apply GD&T
• support tooling reliability, safety, and cost improvements.

Why this role
