Authorization Coordinator I — Remote

What you'll do

• Process patient referral requests
• review referrals according to standard work, health plan contracts, and utilization management protocols
• forward requests to nurses or physicians when required
• monitor pending referrals and turnaround times
• document referral updates and determinations
• assist providers and patients with status questions
• identify workflow problems and report anticipated delays
• support process improvements.
