What you'll do

• Inspect heating systems and diagnose leaks or malfunctions
• install oil heating systems, tanks, boilers, and burners to specifications and safety regulations
• perform routine service, replace parts, and adjust equipment
• test systems for safe operation
• document service visits and prepare reports
• follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment
• communicate equipment status and maintenance needs
• explain work and provide maintenance guidance to clients.
