The Citation CJ3 First Officer role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $80,000–$85,000 per year. Silver Air Private Jets serves clients’ travel needs through its private aircraft fleet, including charter missions. The first officer supports safe and compliant flight operations by preparing the aircraft and route, following company procedures and aviation regulations, and completing trip documentation. The role also provides opportunities to fly across the broader CJ3 fleet and build flight hours.

What you'll do

• Review aircraft maintenance status for airworthiness
• conduct pre-flight inspections under the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
• check weather, route facilities, and airports, including alternates
• follow Silver Air policies and Federal Aviation Regulations
• ensure passenger, aircraft, and crew safety
• complete trip paperwork accurately.

Why this role

Requires 1,500 total flight hours, 1,000 multi-engine hours, and a valid First Class Medical Certificate; 500 turbine hours and Part 135 experience are preferred. Requires ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization and work on call with nights, weekends, and holidays.
