The Body Technician (Flat Rate) is an onsite role based in Austell, GA, with compensation ranging from $23 to $33 per hour. This position supports the Gerber Collision & Glass team by performing high-quality vehicle repairs to restore them to pre-accident condition. The role exists to ensure customer satisfaction through meticulous vehicle assessment, disassembly, repair, and reassembly. The technician works collaboratively with the team to meet repair facility KPIs and uphold the company's standards for speed and quality.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove and replace damaged sections and parts.
• Weld and attach parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
