Small Engine Mechanic

The Small Engine Mechanic role is onsite in Ashland, VA, and pays $30–$35 per hour. The role exists to diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and landscaping equipment, helping ensure equipment is ready for daily field operations. It also supports shop organization and maintenance documentation.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on small engines and lawn-care equipment
• service mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, and related tools
• perform oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, tire repairs, and tune-ups
• troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• organize the shop and tool inventory
• document repairs
• assist with equipment pickup or delivery if needed.
