Civil Transportation Project Manager

The Civil Transportation Project Manager role is onsite in Raleigh, NC. Salary is $140,000–$150,000 per year. The position manages transportation projects from planning and design through construction and closeout, serving as a key client contact and leading multidisciplinary teams. The role supports compliant, high-quality project delivery and may support proposals, client development, and pursuit of new transportation work.

What you'll do

• Lead transportation projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
• manage scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
• serve as a primary contact for clients, agencies, stakeholders, and partners
• coordinate engineers and designers
• monitor financial performance, schedules, resources, and delivery
• review plans, reports, drawings, and other deliverables
• ensure compliance with agency requirements, design standards, codes, and quality requirements
• identify and resolve project risks and issues
• and support proposals and client development as applicable.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline, 10+ years of civil/transportation engineering experience including project management, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Public-sector transportation client experience is preferred.
