Consignment Director – Animation and Anime Art

The Consignment Director – Animation and Anime Art role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with extensive travel, including weekends. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The role supports Heritage Auctions, which connects collectors with objects across more than 50 auction categories. The director evaluates and researches animation and anime art, Disney theme park props and artwork, and Disneyana pieces, while acquiring consignments and developing client relationships. The work supports auction catalog production, marketing, and sales.

What you'll do

• Evaluate property and establish auction estimates
• acquire consignments through company and individually generated leads
• research, authenticate, and catalog property
• proof catalog text and images, press releases, emails, and advertising copy
• market auction lots to clients
• expand the client database
• answer inquiries before, during, and after auctions
• travel as needed to meet clients and review potential consignments
• participate in auctions and trade shows.
