Manufacturing Technician 1, Day Shift

The Manufacturing Technician 1 position is onsite in Fremont, CA, on a Monday–Friday day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; compensation is $29–$32 per hour. Velo3D develops metal additive manufacturing systems and related software and quality-control solutions. The technician assembles and tests system components for research and development and manufacturing teams. The role supports reliable, high-performance equipment by inspecting components, maintaining test records, and coordinating materials and parts with manufacturing and shipping teams.

What you'll do

• Assemble system components
• test performance using metrology equipment
• monitor materials and parts for defects or nonconformance
• maintain testing records
• ensure required subcomponents and materials are available
• communicate problems and improvement suggestions
• coordinate with manufacturing and shipping departments.
