Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst

The Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, or one of the other listed locations: Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN; or Columbia, SC. Compensation is not specified. The analyst supports vulnerability governance and risk management in a large-scale financial services technology environment. The role tracks, prioritizes, and oversees remediation of vulnerabilities in line with security standards, risk frameworks, and service-level requirements. It works across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, application, and risk teams to identify exposure, support exceptions, and provide leadership with clear reporting.

What you'll do

• Manage vulnerability governance and security-policy compliance
• analyze vulnerability data across technology domains, including AWS and cloud environments
• track remediation, aging, and SLA adherence
• support risk assessments and exception reviews
• identify recurring risks and control gaps
• prepare metrics, dashboards, and leadership reports
• maintain standards, procedures, workflows, and audit evidence.
