What you'll do

• Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications
• prepare takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals
• document assumptions, allowances, cost-saving opportunities, and alternates
• collaborate with the Chief Estimator on scope, risk, and pricing
• coordinate with project managers, procurement, executives, and vendors
• support buyouts, negotiations, job status reviews, scope clarifications, and change orders
• track bid outcomes and maintain estimating data, cost libraries, and bid logs
• attend pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and site visits.
