Ophthalmic Technician

What you'll do

• Provide patient service
• verify patient information and record medical history and medications
• enter information in the EMR
• assess pupils, eye muscles, visual acuity, and extraocular movements
• perform dilation, refraction, pressure checks, visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refraction, and topography
• document visits and procedures
• prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
• maintain and stock rooms and update drug counts
• travel to satellite offices.
