Residential Construction Risk Management Field Inspector

Job overview

The Residential Construction Risk Management Field Inspector works onsite in Salisbury, MD, with an assigned service area within a 200-mile radius. Compensation is not specified. PEG, LLC partners with homebuilders on construction compliance and works to improve building energy efficiency and home quality. The inspector monitors residential, multifamily, and light commercial projects from foundation through turnover, reviewing plans and specifications, coordinating inspections, documenting findings, and working with clients and contractors. The role helps reduce construction risk and rework while supporting consistent quality and client satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Monitor construction activity and Risk Management Program inspections
• review plans and product specifications
• attend client and community kickoff meetings
• conduct inspections at critical construction stages
• maintain inspection documents and schedules
• coordinate with contractors and clients
• support field operations inspections as needed
• monitor site safety and daily reports
• address client and contractor issues
• keep current on codes and recommend program improvements.
