Lead Cloud Architect

The architect owns the program’s cloud hosting and infrastructure design and leads the cloud and platform engineering team. The work is intended to deliver a secure, authorizable, resilient environment that supports the program lifecycle and its development, test, training, and production needs.

What you'll do

• Own cloud and infrastructure architecture, including hosting, network topology, connectivity, and enterprise-cloud integration
• lead and develop the cloud and platform engineering team
• design environments and capacity plans
• meet federal cloud security requirements
• partner on authorization artifacts and continuous monitoring
• establish hardening, identity, automation, resilience, container, monitoring, and logging approaches
• present architecture at program reviews
• advise on hosting costs and technical and schedule impacts.
