The handler safely receives, identifies, stores, and stages steel coils so production machines have the materials needed on schedule. Accurate inventory transactions, equipment operation, and an organized steel bay help maintain safe and efficient material flow throughout the facility.

What you'll do

• Inspect and unload incoming steel coils
• operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and crane scales
• complete Plex receiving, transfer, staging, weighing, tagging, and rejection transactions
• maintain accurate coil identification and inventory locations
• stage and deliver coils to production
• assist with coil changes and machine setups
• maintain steel bay cleanliness and daily 5S requirements.
