Special Needs Worker

The Special Needs Worker role is onsite in Sandy, UT. Pay is $17–$24 per hour. The Inn supports people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in home and community settings. The worker provides individualized assistance that helps clients build independence, dignity, and social inclusion. The role combines personal care and daily living support with community participation, life-skills development, and adherence to individual care and behavior support plans.

What you'll do

• Assist with hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, meals, and light housekeeping
• provide medication reminders
• accompany clients to appointments and community activities
• teach and reinforce life skills
• follow individualized care and behavior support plans
• respond calmly to behavioral or crisis situations
• and assist with mobility and transportation needs.
