What you'll do

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
• assist dentists and specialists during examinations and procedures
• take and prepare dental X-rays and diagnostic records when permitted by state regulations and credentials
• provide oral-hygiene and post-treatment guidance
• maintain infection-control, sterilization, and safety standards
• maintain instruments and supplies.
