What you'll do

• Communicate accurate information to unit nursing staff
• seek physician supervision and direction
• complete nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation and administration, and vital signs
• orient new employees to unit policies and procedures
• assist physicians
• participate in departmental meetings
• provide oversight and serve as a resource to direct care staff
• support the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers with staffing and activities
• provide direct patient care when necessary or assigned.
