What you'll do

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders and requisitions
• research suppliers and request and compare quotations
• communicate with vendors about pricing, availability, order status, shipping, and delivery
• monitor inventory and coordinate with warehouse and production
• follow up on delayed, damaged, or incorrect orders
• match invoices to purchase orders and receiving records
• assist with billing discrepancies
• maintain purchasing records and enter data in Excel and company systems.
