What you'll do

• Lead design and development of Java backend services for workflow orchestration platforms such as Appian
• define backend architecture standards and patterns
• translate workflow requirements into APIs and integrations
• build scalable Java and Spring-based microservices
• integrate enterprise systems using REST, messaging, and event-driven patterns
• collaborate with product, infrastructure, security, and data teams
• support CI/CD, DevSecOps, observability, and automated testing
• mentor engineers and conduct code and design reviews.
