The Per Diem Unarmed Security Guard – Outpatient Clinic role is onsite in Liverpool, NY, serving Conifer Park’s outpatient clinic in Syracuse. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The guard supports facility security and assists clinical and nursing departments with patient-related safety needs. The role monitors the facility and its cameras, documents checks and incidents, and assists with behavioral interventions and searches in accordance with established policies. Its purpose is to help maintain a secure, confidential environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Maintain and monitor facility security according to procedure
• use judgment and discretion and maintain confidentiality
• assist clinical and nursing departments with patients needing behavioral interventions under established policies and guidelines
• report areas checked inside and outside the facility, calls for service, and safety or security infractions at shift end
• monitor facility cameras and report significant findings
• assist admission and clinical departments with patient personal and luggage searches.
