What you'll do

• Lead estimating from receipt of bid documents through subcontractor buyout
• review budgets and bid documents
• interview and prequalify subcontractors
• select subcontractors and manage DBE goals
• prepare bid packages and estimates
• evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• represent the company in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors
• complete buyout and operations turnover
• develop contacts
• research local codes and permits
• follow estimating procedures
• and prepare value engineering as needed.
