The Automotive Technician / Mechanic — Prototype Install Shop role is onsite in Chandler, AZ, with compensation of $22–$23 per hour. Horsepower Automotive Group develops and supports automotive aftermarket brands, including Addictive Desert Designs. The technician installs and test-fits prototype off-road products on new vehicles, identifies fitment and quality issues, and supports product development and launch readiness. The role contributes hands-on mechanical and electrical work, inspections, and installation documentation to the engineering and product teams.

What you'll do

• Test-fit prototype products and verify fit, function, and compatibility
• install aftermarket accessories
• perform basic 12V wiring
• report fitment, quality, manufacturing, and production-readiness improvements
• assist with quality inspections, installation guides, and 3D scanning
• assemble finished goods as needed
• collaborate with engineering and product teams.
