Compensation is $31–$33 per hour. The Immigration Legal Services Paralegal role is onsite in Boston, MA; Catholic Charities Boston provides emergency assistance and long-term economic empowerment, welcoming people regardless of faith or circumstance. Working under attorney supervision, the paralegal supports humanitarian and family-based immigration matters for immigrant and refugee clients. The role manages casework, prepares applications and evidence, maintains records, and contributes to community education and outreach.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of 35–50 clients under attorney supervision
• provide legal guidance with attorney oversight
• conduct client intake and prepare applications or petitions
• collect supporting evidence
• file approved paperwork with USCIS or the State Department
• conduct legal research
• support attorneys on complex cases
• maintain accurate records and case notes in LawLogix/Edge
• prepare case statistics and program data
• participate in community outreach and immigration workshops
• travel locally as needed.
