This position supports Xcel Energy's hydro plant operations by developing technical expertise and providing engineering oversight for critical infrastructure projects. This role exists to ensure the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of hydro facilities through technical analysis, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. The engineer will apply technical standards to design, maintenance, and regulatory activities while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
