Certified Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Eloy, AZ. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, and the schedule is days. The assistant performs basic patient-care activities under physician direction and licensed-nurse supervision. The role supports clinical care through specimen collection, medication assistance as directed, diagnostic testing, patient monitoring, and preparation for physician visits. These duties help the care team assess and respond to patient needs within the assistant’s training and applicable scope of practice.

What you'll do

• Collect blood samples by peripheral venipuncture and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• assist with oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medication administration as directed
• assist with EKGs and diagnostic tests
• prepare patients, examination rooms, and equipment for sick call
• perform CPR and obstructed-airway techniques
• dress and bandage wounds
• provide oxygen therapy and assist with urinary catheterizations
• monitor, record, and report vital signs and patient condition.
