Plant Accountant

What you'll do

• Review manufacturing expenditures and prepare reclassifications or accruals
• identify spending anomalies
• perform variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting
• prepare cost-of-goods-sold forecasts
• investigate financial variances
• prepare plant reports
• support audits
• manage inventory accuracy and reconciliations
• validate product costing
• prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• support month- and year-end close, budgeting, and forecasting
• maintain GAAP, internal policy, and SOX compliance
• provide financial insights to plant leadership.
