Product Counsel

Job overview

The Product Counsel role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with compensation of $230,000–$275,000 per year. SpaceXAI’s mission is to create AI systems that can understand the universe and aid humanity’s pursuit of knowledge. The counsel advises product and engineering teams on legal issues affecting AI products and business operations. The role works across Legal, Engineering, Safety, Policy, and Business Development to provide practical guidance, build scalable legal-review processes, and monitor relevant U.S. and international laws.

What you'll do

• Advise product and engineering teams on AI, personalization, creators, advertising, and international expansion
• partner with engineering and Legal and Public Policy leaders
• develop scalable processes for legal input on strategic product initiatives
• collaborate across Legal, Engineering, Safety, Policy, and Business Development
• monitor laws and regulations related to AI, privacy, intellectual property, content regulation, consumer protection, and advertising.
