Design Assistant – Floral Design

The position exists to keep design workflow organized and moving by preparing products and supplies, coordinating materials, and helping designers meet production deadlines. It contributes to consistency and quality by maintaining work areas, organizing design tickets, monitoring supplies, and transporting finished designs or materials.

What you'll do

• Gather, prepare, and organize floral products and supplies
• build positive working relationships with designers and team members
• follow company policies and standards
• maintain a clean, organized workspace
• communicate issues to the Design Manager
• identify floral varieties and design components
• condition flowers and assemble basic mechanics
• organize and distribute design tickets
• enter supply requests as directed
• support department projects and deadlines
• transport finished designs or materials
• monitor supply levels and report low inventory
• coordinate with sales or support teams when order details need clarification.
