What you'll do

• Assist with instruction for students with emotional, educational, physical, or behavioral needs
• provide individual and small-group academic support
• review student histories, education plans, and lesson plans as directed
• help develop learning materials and activities
• support motor development and positive behavior
• monitor student safety
• maintain classroom records and assist with clerical tasks
• accompany students to regular classrooms as assigned
• monitor students during playground, lunch, trips, and bus transitions
• communicate with teachers and families as needed
• provide first aid in emergencies according to guidelines.
