The Direct Service Professional/Worker role is onsite in Shreveport, LA, with a starting rate of $15.00 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential for hours worked from 3:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The schedule is 2:45 p.m.–11:15 p.m. on 8-hour shifts, with every other weekend off. The role provides care and daily-living support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Holy Angels Residential Facility. The role exists to support residents’ daily living, treatment, and well-being. The professional supervises, assists, and trains residents in personal care and other daily skills, completes required documentation, reports signs of illness to nursing staff and supervisors, and may assist with laundry or dining-room duties as assigned.

What you'll do

• Supervise, assist, and train residents in daily living skills

• complete computer-based service, behavior, incident, and medical documentation
• report illness concerns to nurses and supervisors
• perform other reasonable resident-care duties as assigned.
