Field Technician I – Soils and Concrete Testing

What you'll do

• Perform field testing of soils, plastic concrete, bituminous, and masonry materials
• conduct density and Proctor tests
• observe excavations and compare observations with soil boring logs
• perform hand auger borings under project manager direction
• conduct laboratory tests and calibrations
• report results
• communicate with project managers, clients, contractors, and suppliers
• maintain equipment and laboratory areas
• and follow safety and quality procedures.
