This role serves as the organizational authority on Research Ops strategy, practice, and innovation at Cox Automotive. This role exists to shape how research is practiced, scaled, and valued across the organization. It contributes to the team by defining the future state of Research Ops, influencing executive stakeholders, and acting as a principal advisor to research, design, product, and business leadership.

What you'll do

• Define and own the long-term Research Ops strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap.
• Serve as the principal authority and internal thought leader on Research Ops discipline.
• Lead enterprise-level Research Ops transformation initiatives.
• Establish and govern enterprise standards for research repositories, insight management, and data governance.
• Drive alignment across research, design, product, and executive leadership.
• Partner with C-suite stakeholders to define strategic value.
• Lead the design of AI-enabled and automated research systems.
• Own the Research Ops measurement framework.
• Oversee strategic vendor partnerships and budget planning.
• Model and develop a culture of craft and continuous improvement.
