Maintenance Technician, Avistar on the Hills

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, and pays $19–$20 per hour. The position supports Foresight Asset Management’s multifamily property operations and resident service. The technician diagnoses and completes property repairs, supports rent-ready unit preparation and preventive maintenance, and inspects buildings and grounds for safety. The role also helps maintain supplies and records while communicating with residents, vendors, and coworkers to keep the property operational and attractive.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work where no license is required, sheetrock, carpentry, pool equipment if applicable, roofs and gutters, painting, foundations and sidewalks, irrigation, landscaping, and ice or snow conditions. Prioritize service requests with the Maintenance Lead
• assist with vacant-unit turnarounds
• maintain preventive maintenance programs
• inspect property features
• monitor inventory
• maintain service and repair records
• and communicate with residents, vendors, and supervisors.
